Earlier/opt-in US Costco configuration DCT401CO. It is not the un-suffixed DCT401 or the Foodi Smart Thermometer-equipped DCT451; verify the exact label and bundled pans on any used or remaining-stock unit.

A useful fit for

A cautious earlier-model reference for someone who wants two separately scheduled ovens, dedicated lower Air Fry and Dehydrate, top Cookies, lower Proof and a broad included-pan kit—and has the counter depth, outlet and cleaning routine for it.

The main tradeoff

The 31-pound body is listed at 18.6 inches deep before the guide's one-inch airflow margin; it needs a 15-amp outlet not shared with another appliance. It has no listed wired probe, and live retailer stock is not confirmed. One owner-guide dial-selection line conflicts with the exact panel and other guide mode tables, which should be kept in view.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I include the earlier DCT401CO if I want separate top/lower schedules plus both Air Fry and Dehydrate?

Yes, when earlier US models are allowed. The exact CO panel and owner guide list separate upper/lower ovens with lower Air Fry and Dehydrate programs; choose their mode-specific accessories and rack level.

Can the DCT401CO satisfy an essential 16-inch maximum body width?

No. Costco lists a 16.39-inch body width, before the guide's one-inch airflow allowance on each side; measure the entire counter and operating space.

Does the exact DCT401CO bundle include a wired cooking probe?

No probe is listed in the exact Costco accessory bundle or the CO-series guide. A DCT451 probe is a separate configuration and should not be assumed compatible or included.

Does Costco's exact page state at least 0.9 cubic feet of capacity?

Yes. The exact DCT401CO listing states 0.94 cu ft; this is a nominal published capacity, not a measured usable pan area.

The Ninja DCT401CO is the Costco-listed, fourteen-function version of Ninja’s stacked Double Oven. Its selling point is not simply a bigger preset count: the exact control panel and owner’s guide show a separate upper toaster-oven chamber and lower convection/Air Fry chamber, with programs such as Cookies and Proof alongside Dehydrate. The suffix matters. This is not the same configuration as the twelve-function, un-suffixed DCT401, and the accessories in the Costco package are different.

Fourteen programs, divided between two small ovens

The manufacturer image for DCT401CO shows seven upper choices—Broil, Toast, Bagel, Bake, Reheat, Keep Warm and Cookies—and seven lower choices: Whole Roast, Air Roast, Air Fry, Convection Bake, Pizza, Dehydrate and Proof. The manual assigns one rack position to the upper chamber and two to the lower. The upper side is useful for toast, a modest bake or warming; the lower side takes the basket, roast setup or a sheet-pan meal. These are two separate work areas, not fourteen independent ovens or fourteen programs available in either cavity.

Each side has its own time and temperature selection, and Smart Finish can hold the shorter cycle so the two jobs finish together. That can be useful when one dish needs a longer roast while a faster side cooks below or above. It does not eliminate the need to plan the sequence: the guide says the oven still preheats for many modes, and it tells you to add food after the preheat signal. Toast, Bagel, Broil, Keep Warm, Dehydrate and Proof do not preheat. Treat Smart Finish as a way to coordinate two documented cycles, not a promise that a meal is automatically quicker or perfectly timed.

Where the CO package differs

Costco lists a 0.94-cubic-foot nominal capacity, six-slice toast reference, body dimensions of 16.39 inches wide by 18.6 deep by 13.26 high, and a 31-pound weight. That is a broad, deep appliance for a counter; it also needs space for both door sections, hot trays and the power cord. The owner’s guide calls for at least one inch of open airflow space above and on all sides, a level countertop and no extension cord. Its 1,800-watt load should be considered when choosing an outlet; the guide specifies a 15-amp circuit and says not to share the outlet with another appliance while it is in use. Body dimensions are not an installation clearance or a guarantee that your own casserole dish will fit.

The listed box is unusually complete for this family: two sheet pans, two wire racks, an Air Fry basket, a removable crumb tray, a roast tray, 9-inch round and 8-inch square NeverStick cake pans, and a recipe book. The cake pans make the lower oven’s Proof program more practical, while the roast tray is intended to sit over a sheet pan on a rack for greasy or dripping foods. Verify every piece if you are considering a used or open-box unit; replacement compatibility does not prove that a seller’s package is complete.

Air frying, drying and proofing require different setups

For dry Air Fry items, the guide uses the basket in the lower oven; when food is oily, fatty or marinated, it directs the user to catch drippings on the sheet pan below. The manual’s two rack levels do not mean every mode may use both at once. Dehydrate runs in the lower basket without preheating, up to 24 hours within the documented 85–200°F range; the guide says to lay food flat rather than stack it and notes that a separate dehydrating accessory is needed to dry on two levels. Proof is another lower-oven arrangement: the guide places dough in the cake pan over a sheet pan with two tablespoons of water. Those are useful distinctions if you bake bread or dry small batches, but they do not make this a dedicated multi-tray dehydrator.

Cleanup is part of the choice. The manual recommends hand-washing accessories; the air-fry basket and wire racks can go in a dishwasher but may wear sooner, while the sheet pans, roast tray and crumb tray must stay out. It recommends wiping splatter from the interior and glass after use, and warns against immersing the main unit or letting foil or parchment touch heating elements. It also calls for an empty, ventilated 25-minute first-use run with the upper oven on Bake and the lower on Air Fry at 450°F. Plan for the setup and cooling routine, not only the menu.

Who should consider it—and who should pass

This is a sensible earlier-model reference if you specifically want two independently scheduled chambers, a dedicated Air Fry and Dehydrate program, a Cookies mode and a built-in Proof routine, and can use the larger accessory set. It is less compelling if you mainly need one roomy cavity for a large casserole, have limited counter depth, or want hands-off probe-guided roasting. The exact DCT401CO package and guide do not list a wired food probe, and the product documents reviewed do not establish app-connected oven control. No cooking-performance, noise or temperature testing is claimed here.

Compare it carefully with the plain DCT401: that exact earlier listing has twelve modes, no listed Proof or Cookies option, and a smaller set of included pieces. The DCT451 is another earlier two-zone alternative with a Foodi Smart Thermometer and Dehydrate, but its probe has model-specific restrictions; it is not a DCT401CO add-on. Later DCT801-family models have their own controls and mode maps, so their settings should not be borrowed either. If the advantages you need are a single larger cavity or a temperature probe, compare a documented single-cavity oven or a probe-equipped model instead of choosing by the Double Oven name alone. Costco’s product page is an exact-code reference, but a cached listing is not a guarantee of current stock; verify the DCT401CO label and full bundle before purchase.
