Cuisinart Large Air Fryer Toaster Oven TOA-95 review

An earlier 0.95-cu-ft single-cavity digital oven with Air Fry, Proof, Dehydrate, separate Low and Slow Cook modes, and sequential Dual Cook.

Sources checked 2026-10-23 · Our editorial approach

Earlier discontinued US TOA-95 (no NAS suffix). Its linked manual names Proof, Slow Cook and Low separately; Dual Cook is sequential. Cuisinart lists a distinct TOA-95NAS product; verify that model separately.

A useful fit for

A useful earlier-model reference when Slow Cook, Proof, Dehydrate, Air Fry and a 9-by-13-inch pan fit are essential and a 17.875-inch body width plus ventilation clearance fits.

The main tradeoff

Cuisinart marks TOA-95 discontinued. It has one cavity and no documented independent zones, app control or included probe. Its listed body width needs additional manual clearance; current availability and weight unit are unknown.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

If earlier models are acceptable, can TOA-95 provide Air Fry, Proof, Dehydrate and Slow Cook with at least 0.9 cu ft and an 18-inch body-width maximum?

Yes. Its exact product page/manual document the listed cycles, 0.95-cu-ft cavity and 17.875-inch width. Add the manual’s 2–4-inch clearance separately.

Does TOA-95 Dual Cook meet a need for independently scheduled top and lower zones?

No. The manual describes two functions/temperatures running consecutively in one shared cavity.

Does TOA-95 fit a body-only 17-inch width maximum?

No. Cuisinart lists a 17.875-inch width before the additional operating clearance.

The discontinued Cuisinart TOA-95 is a large digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven whose best reason to choose it is an unusual combination of one-cavity capacity references and a Slow Cook program that is separate from Low. Its exact US page lists 0.95 cubic feet, a 13-inch pizza, nine slices of toast, a 9-by-13-inch pan fit and Air Fry loads up to four pounds. Its linked model-specific booklet also documents Proof, although the product page's short features list does not name that function. The TOA-95 is the exact model without the NAS suffix; Cuisinart has a separate TOA-95NAS product page, and their identity or package should not be merged just because the names look nearly the same.

One broad menu, but still one oven

Cuisinart lists Air Fry with presets, Bake, Broil, Pizza, Roast, Dual Cooking, Reheat, Keep Warm, Toast, Bagel, Dehydrate, Low and Slow Cook. The menu and front panel are digital, with separate function and time/temperature dials, a light and a display. High and low convection fan speeds are available, though some programs have a fixed fan speed. Cuisinart's function list is useful for comparing modes, but the headline Dual Cooking feature is not a second independently controlled chamber. The manual says Dual Cook programs two functions or temperatures one after the other—for example, bake then broil. If two foods need separate schedules at the same time, this is the wrong operating plan.

Slow Cook and Low are not interchangeable labels. The TOA-95 manual offers Slow Cook Hi and Lo settings for longer cooking at low temperatures and has a separate Low menu entry with its own temperature/time settings. Dehydrate is also a named function; the booklet describes 100–200°F and up to 72 hours. Proof is an additional function in the exact TOA-95 manual—80–100°F for up to two hours—even though the product page's brief list omits it. For Air Fry, the manual recommends placing the supplied basket inside the Baking/Drip Pan. These details make the TOA-95 a candidate when Slow Cook, Proof or Dehydrate are essential, but all remain alternate modes in one shared cavity.

Body fit and food fit are separate measurements

The listed outer body is 13.125 inches long, 17.875 inches wide and 15.625 inches high. Treat the width as a measured body dimension, not usable counter space. The manual calls for a level surface with two to four inches from nearby walls or countertop objects, says the sides get hot, warns against storing anything on top during use and says not to operate beneath wall cabinets or in an appliance garage. Include door swing, cord route, clearance and a place to set hot pans in your plan. Its width can pass a body-only 18-inch limit but not a 17-inch one; neither result establishes safe operating clearance.

Use the pan and rack positions pictured in the model-specific guide. For Air Fry, leave room around food in the basket and check food during cooking; the manual charts give suggested amounts and times rather than independent performance measurements. Cuisinart states 1,800 watts. Its product page's weight field prints “25.8” without a unit, so weight is not reported as pounds here.

Included pieces, care, and the used-oven reality

The exact TOA-95 page lists an oven rack, baking pan, Air Fry basket and crumb tray, plus a nonstick interior, interior light and dishwasher-safe accessories. The linked booklet is more specific: the rack and crumb tray are hand-wash only, while the baking/drip pan and Air Fry basket are dishwasher-safe. Unplug and cool the oven before cleaning, and keep the crumb tray installed. Cuisinart lists the TOA-95AFB basket, TOA-95CT crumb tray and TOA-95WR rack as replacement parts compatible with TOA-95. The TOA-95BP broiling pan is linked from the exact model's parts area, but the standalone part page does not itself list compatible hosts. A separate ANS-TOA2528 basket page does name TOA-95; check part codes and the actual unit rather than buying by approximate dimensions alone.

The manual states a limited three-year US household warranty and 120-volt operation with authorized parts. Because Cuisinart marks the model discontinued, a used appliance or old-stock box should not be assumed to retain service or warranty coverage. Confirm the model label, proof of purchase, accessories and condition; verify any replacement pieces directly before purchase.

What changes if you choose the current TOA-112?

The current Cuisinart TOA-112 is the strongest in-catalogue comparison reviewed here. It is also a one-cavity digital oven, with a 13-inch pizza and a 9-by-13-inch pan, but the body is listed at 15 inches wide and 18.6 inches deep. The TOA-112 adds an included probe and reversible Grill/Griddle plate; its manual documents Low rather than a named Slow Cook setting, and the probe does not monitor Low or Dehydrate. The TOA-95 instead lists Slow Cook separately, is shallower front-to-back but wider, and has no documented probe. Pick based on the essential mode and the counter shape, not on the “large” name alone.

If Slow Cook, Low, Proof, Dehydrate and 9-by-13-inch cookware all matter, the TOA-95 can satisfy that single-cavity operating plan, but add the manual clearance and check discontinued-unit condition. Cuisinart also lists TOA-95NAS separately; its suffix is not a finish code proven equivalent to this discontinued TOA-95, and its own specifications/manual should be checked before comparing it. This source-based assessment is not a hands-on test: browning uniformity, temperature accuracy, preheat speed, noise and longevity were not measured.
